Hey! I'm Cristina Fernández and this week I'm the translator of my group HIDE & SEEK. The five most important terms we have learnt this week are the following:

  • TPACK: It's the interaction of the three parts: technology, pedagogy and content. You can only understand what TPACK is if you have a meaning of the relation of the three components in a whole set. So, it will be based on how to teach and the content you include using the correct technological tools.
  • TECHNOLOGY: It's a useful source to learn looking for information and showing it. But the function of the student is to transform that information into knowledge. The teacher uses this resource for a better understanding of the students about the subjects.
  • CONTENT: It's the knowledge that the student has to acquire. The teacher will decide what information he will teach and what will not.
  • PEDAGOGY: It's the way of teaching to the students. There will be many different ways of doing it according to the teacher.
  • MIND MAP: It's a useful way of showing information using a clear method and relating information with key words.

Moreover, I'd like to comment the expositions of the different groups about TPACK so let's show what was the best and the worst things of each group:
  1. Cmon Tutankhamon: It was characterized by the creativity of the components of the group. There were very concrete questions for a good understanding in the poster. The worst thing was that they used a little bit more time for their exposition after the stop of the rest of groups.
  2. The Little Ants: We could define it with: creativity, colours, good distribution of information in the poster. The map was original and there were good relations between the concepts. The worst thing was that the components of the group read too much.
  3. T8T: It was a clear and good explanation with examples. The worst thing was the fast speed of the star when she was exposing the topic.
  4. Brain Storming: In the presentation, there were clear relations between concepts and she told the story of TPACK, which was really interesting. She distributed the different subjects that we studied during the first trimester in three clear steps. The worst thing was that we all could feel she was nervous.
  5. Teachleaders: They used a lot of colours in their poster and they did a good distribution of key words and concepts. While Nerea was confident and not nervous, Gloria read too much.
  6. Give me 7: It was a formal work. The poster was very clean and clear. They used serious images. The worst thing was that he spoke too low and there was too much information in the poster.
  7. Education Rush Hour: It was a clear explanation using important key words. We all understood perfect what is a TPACK.
  8. Step by step: It was a simple but easy to understand poster. The problem was that the star said too much information fastly and we felt that she had learnt the information by heart.
