I HAVE BEEN THE FACILITATOR THIS WEEK.
Hi bloggers!
Well... I´m Cristina Gil and I have been the Facilitator of Hide and Seek this week. My task was to more or less organize what we had to do, the time we have and check that everything was fine. I have felt quite important this week because I was somehow the "boss" of the group and actually I felt a little bit like a teacher because it was like telling my students what to do. I think this task makes you feel like a real teacher so I´ve actually liked it a lot because I can´t wait to be one!
With this task I have learned that it is quite complicated to organize a group, but I have also learned that this is what I want to do, this is my future.
See you next week readers! :)

THE STAR: MARÍA JOSÉ GÓMEZ
Hello! I am
María José Gómez and this week I have been the Star of my group with my
colleague Carmen González.
I loved
this work, the topic that we chose for our work this week is very interesting
and entertaining, it is about "Greek mythology". I enjoyed doing the
show, I must say that I was very nervous at first but that is normal, once I
started the nerves were removed and both, my partner and I enjoyed a lot while
we explained to all the class about Greek gods and the myth of Hades and
Persephone.
Certainly, my experience as Star has been fantastic and I hope that the next time this experience
can be equal or better than this one.

THE JOURNALISTS : ROSA AND CRISTINA.F.
Hey!
We are Rosa and Cristina.F. and this week we have been the journalists of Hide
and Seek. It’s amazing because we feel like real journalists of a magazine or a
newspaper and we both work well together!! :D
February, Wednesday 19th
We
went to Luis Vives and started watching some videos and other resources of LMS
to understand how to do our next presentation. When we read a lot of
information we were ready to start. But we had to decide how we would create
our project and what topic we would use. Finally we decided that we would talk
about mythology. We selected the
information to make our draft to show it to the teacher. We
divided our work. Even we divided the work, we talked a little bit about it together.
February,
Thursday 20th
These evening, after the
clarifications of our teacher about what to improve of our tasks, we met on
“Luis Vives” to continue working. We chose Greek Mythology, concretely
the myth of “The Rape of Persephone” where the ancient Greeks explained the
seasons. While some of us were working on it, others were working on
Creative Common License and How to do a good presentation. The last ones
informed to the rest of the group about what they learned, in order to
make a fine Slideshow for our exposition.
February,
Monday 24th
We did the
expositions of the week. After choosing the order of the presentations, we started with them; our group was the 5th. While we were watching them, we graded them according to what we have learned about
doing good presentations.

Finally, we have to say one more thing: while we were uploading our presentation video we found an interesting video called "Remix Creative Common Videos". It's really surprising because it make us realize that there are a lot of things around us that we don't know.

This week the translator is... the fantastic Almudena :)
Hello bloggers! I am Almudena and this week I have been the translator of my group. I’m going to highlight some words that I think that they are very important.
This week we have learnt about how we can make a good presentation for our audience and we have known a lot of different web where we can use images without copyright.
These are the words:
1. Slides Share: Slides Share is a company that have got a unique goal: To share knowledge online. SlideShare has grown to become the world’s largest community for sharing presentations and other professional content.
Slide Share is a important tool for us because we can find topics ranging from technology and business to travel, health, and education. We can share the content that matters to us with our colleagues, customers, friends and followers. With this tool our future projects can reach a wide audience.
2. Copyright: is a legal concept, enacted by most governments, that grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights to its use and distribution, usually for a limited time, with the intention of enabling the creator of intellectual wealth (e.g. the photographer of a photograph or the author of a book) to receive compensation for their work and be able to financially support themselves.
3. Presentations: A presentation is a means of communication which can be adapted to various speaking situations, such as talking to a group, addressing a meeting or briefing a team.
5. Slideshow: A slide show may be a presentation of images purely for their own visual interest or artistic value, sometimes unaccompanied by description or text, or it may be used to clarify or reinforce information, ideas, comments, solutions or suggestions which are presented verbally. Slide shows are sometimes still conducted by a presenter using an apparatus such as a carousel slide projector or an overhead projector, but now the use of an electronic video display device and a computer running presentation software is typical.
I hope that your next week will be equal or more interesting than this week.
Bye-bye!

3. Presentations: A presentation is a means of communication which can be adapted to various speaking situations, such as talking to a group, addressing a meeting or briefing a team.
To be effective, step-by-step preparation and the method and means of presenting the information should be carefully considered. A presentation concerns getting a message across to the listeners and may often contain a 'persuasive' element.
4. Creative Commons: Creative Commons is a nonprofit organization that allows the sharing and use of creativity and knowledge through free legal tools. Creative Commons licenses are not an alternative to copyright. They work alongside copyright and enable you to modify your copyright terms to best suit your needs.

Slideshow: A slide show may be a presentation of images purely for their own visual interest or artistic value, sometimes unaccompanied by description or text, or it may be used to clarify or reinforce information, ideas, comments, solutions or suggestions which are presented verbally. María Maestre Analyst week from 17 till 24 february mythology gods
a. What was the best part of the activity?
After
making an interaction with my colleges into the group and comparing
all the answers, all of us think that the best of this week has been
the topic we have chosen “mythology gods”, because we love it.
From our point of view the secret of a good presentation is
“PASSION”, because if you do not
love your work, it is better that you do any other thing,(if you can
of course).
We
like as well to make all the pictures and parts of the power point
for the next Monday presentation.
b.
What was the worse?
The
worst of this activity it was to find images with CREATIVE COMMONS
LICENCES (CCL) and to organize our work, because there was a lot of
information. For that reason we decided to make our own pictures...
Maybe, for that the worst has become the
best...Because we have enjoyed and laughed while we were doing
them.
c.
What was the best moment of the week (in the work of the
group)?
When
we were all agree choosing our topic and on Wednesday the nineteenth,
we were working all together in our amazing activity, because all of
us knew what to do in this work. Finally it was an enjoyable
afternoon.
d. What
was the worse?
..
..
The
worst of the week was how to organize the activity because of the
lack of time and all the work we have to do.
We
were until late on Wednesday and Thursday as well, and we even
needed some more time on Friday morning.
e.
What have you learned?
The
indispensable and essential to make useful power points, at the same
time that we have learned that it is not easy to find CCL to work
with them and been creative, that is why we decided to do it by
ourselves.
f.
What do you need to conserve -as a group- for the next weeks?
That
we are a hard working group.
g.
What do you need to improve –as a group- for the next weeks?
The
organization, planning and compromises as well as the good
interaction between some members of the group, although this week our
relation and communication was better, we think that it could
improve.
h.
How THIS content is related to other contents in the course and in
your
degree?
The
CCL and the power point of this activity is not only useful but also
indispensable; after, now and always in our career, and we should
know perfectly its pros and cons.
i.
There is any evident social connection of this content (news,
politics,
etc.)?
Nowadays
all the media such as TV, internet, etc need CCL to work legally.
Power
point is part of our daily life not only in class, but also watching
news, searching on the internet, etc.

3rd Week
Hello dear readers! It´s Cristina Gil here! How are you? I hope you are all doing great...
Well... this week we have been working on different things. First we had to do a Slideshow with 30 slides, 10 explaining what Creative Commons Licenses are and 20 explaining some tips of how to make a good presentation. In second place we have done a presentation about Greek Mythology and its relation with the seasons of the year. We have found this topic very interesting to explain... we hope you think the same!
Our roles this week have been:
